Most small businesses, with the exception of highly funded dot-coms, start their lives with the owner doing everything. That “everything” includes taking care of the computers. But, as the business grows, that job may become too big, particularly when you consider all of the other things a small business owner has to deal with. That’s where IT consultants come in. My guest this week is Eric Johnson. He’s the owner of Consortio Services, an IT consulting firm that specializes in small businesses. Eric is also the co-host of CS Techcast, which is a great podcast aimed at IT professionals. Eric tells us how outsourcing your IT needs is something that small business owners can’t afford not to do.
On BizCast Brief, I have news on a rise in small business owner confidence in the economy, and small business organizations jumping into the political fray.
